:(

Thank all relevant gods that the weekend is here. This was an exhausting week. I spent most of last week getting another 2,000 products built in. This was all agency product (not made by us), so pictures, weights, dimensions, etc., all had to be collected. Imagine a production line where we were photographing, weighing, writing copy for an unending line of product. God, I’m tired. But at least next week I can concentrate on my actual job, and start fixing some of the things against my name in the bug tracking system. (All defects/enhancements/etc. are entered and tracked against whoever’s responsibility it is to fix them.) There is so much to be done. So much that is broken or ugly.

On a somewhat brighter note, my boss has finally become aware of what a pain in the ass the copywriter is, and has asked me to document things in case he has to be fired.

An email went out on Friday, saying that all pay reviews are to be put off until the end of this year. They thanked us for all of our hard work and support, anyway. *sigh*

I stop by the pasture most days to make sure that Kip isn’t bleeding or limping, and that’s about it. He lost a shoe, so I wouldn’t be able to work him anyway until after Wednesday, when the farrier will be here. Not that I have the energy.

And I’m late. By about ten days. Test this weekend, and then doctor visit. I would ask what else could go wrong, but I wouldn’t want to tempt Fate…who doesn’t seem to like me much now, anyway.

At some point I suppose it all will become too much…until then, I guess we do what we can, and just roll with the punches.

“I’m late. By about ten days”

probably stress-induced – you are clearly getting way too much of it …

At least you have your boss on your side with the copywriter thing now. No chance of getting a long weekend and having lots of lie-ins and pampering? I’m also wondering do you think it could be stress that is causing you to be late? You have been under an awful lot of pressure these last few weeks. Hope fate starts working for you again soon. *hugs*

    What they said. :)

*gives you big hugs* Try not to worry until you get the test. As the others suggest, It may just be stress messing with your inner clock. Happens to me all the time, unfortunately – admittedly, not so much lately.

Give me a shout if you’d like to meet up for coffee and just have some girly company.

I usually only lurk around here, but you sound unusually down. Hope you feel better after a day or two away from work.

I think you all were right – it was stress. Was, as in past tense – woo hoo! It figures that I agonise over it for more than a week, and then write about it – and the situation resolves itself. HappyHappyJoyJoy. :)

Stress induced lateness should be – I don’t know – banned, or something. Invariably as soon as I buy the test – I start.

Glad the waiting is over ;).
